Hampton Inn Martinsville

I accidentally posted my review to the hotel next door to the Hampton. I’m correcting that now. The Hampton is in my opinion the best hotel in Martinsville VA. After three long visits to the area I can say that the quality has been consistent. The breakfast acceptable and the people friendly. In all our visits we only observed one shady character who was dressed like he was hiding from the law. Everyone else have been business types. It’s pricy for the area but take my advice and pay a little more to stay here. Don’t believe me? Read the reviews for the others in the area. It’s entertaining.

I travel for work and I always pick hotels, food and ecton reviews. They had a 4.3 rating and I liked it. The front desk were great and we joked about my complimentary Rolls-Royce and Bentley. My room was nice and clean and me and one of the young lady from housekeeping had a great conversation she was nice as well. I'd recommend this hotel.

Stayed here one night on a business trip and would highly recommend this property. Everything was very clean and the staff was A++. My room was clean and the bathroom well stocked with clean towels and toiletries The breakfast was well stocked, and I always give extra points if they have hard boiled eggs, as I don’t eat a lot of of the sweet, carb breakfast items that most breakfast bars consider a staple. In addition, they had a nice oatmeal station that included all of the best toppings like cranberries and nuts. I would definitely stay here again !

Had a great stay at Hampton Inn Martinsville. Rooms were clean and comfortable. The hotel feels new and upscale. Staff were really friendly and the breakfast was great! No complaints here.

We stayed here during a business trip. The hotel was pleasent, clean and comfy. The breafast was also ok. That matters what you need during that kind of trips.

The room was clean and looked new. I liked the offer of free snacks The only complaint I would mention is that breakfast was empty of eggs and meat @ 9:20 am. There where no waffle maker and the orange juice was just water. Very disappointing.

The rooms were clean, front desk and staff so friendly. Breakfast was really nice, they even had gluten free muffins, which I was so excited about. Very nice place to stay.

This was an okay hotel with a terrific staff that were very friendly. Strange unique rule not allowing our dog to come through the lobby so side doors were our only option to access the single elevator. Poolside door access did not work as soon as the sensor got sunlight on it. Only guest laundry room was non operational. Very frustrating. Room was clean and the our view of the roof from our window was not impressive. Pool area was really nice. Staff was responsive to no towels in the pool area storage unit. Food was typical Hampton inn. Cookies were awesome for the guests. Lots of green space to walk the dog. Location was perfect to Martinsville shopping and also to Collinsville. Our four nights there were acceptable and I hope that this hotel gets everything working properly and changes their policy for our furry family members.
